Why We Give
1. God Owns Everything—Including Us
Everything we have ultimately belongs to God. He entrusts us with resources and calls us to steward them wisely.
Psalm 24:1; Psalm 50:10–12; Matthew 25:14–30
2. God Should Be Our First Priority
Giving reflects our priorities. God desires to be honored first—even in how we manage our money.
Genesis 4:3–5; Proverbs 3:8–9
3. God Desires a Willing Heart
True generosity flows from a heart that delights in giving. God wants our giving to be voluntary and joyful.
2 Corinthians 9:7
4. God Calls Us to Give Regularly and Proportionally
We are called to give a consistent portion of our income as an act of worship and obedience.
1 Corinthians 16:2
5. God’s Call to Give Remains, Regardless of Circumstances
Even in difficulty, God calls us to trust Him and be generous. Biblical generosity isn’t based on abundance, but faith.
2 Corinthians 8:1–3
